AVINLI

AVINLI is a Boston based Singer-Songwriter/Producer/Engineer. She grew up in Montrose, Colorado where her mother was a music teacher, and was thus surrounded by music from an early age. She wrote her first song at age 8, and began seriously writing songs at age 11 when she started learning guitar. Throughout elementary/middle school, AVINLI played various instruments in band. In high school, she played alto saxophone in Marching Band, Concert Band, and Jazz Band. She also sang in Women’s Honor Choir, Jazz Choir, Chamber Choir, and (ICHSA competitive a cappella choir) Vocal Effect.

In 2019, She began studying music at Colorado Mesa University where she received a scholarship to study voice. She played alto sax in marching band during her first year, and sang in Chamber Choir, Jazz Choir, Women’s Choir, and Commercial Ensemble throughout her time at the school. During this time, she worked at CMU on their event crew. She received her Associate of Arts in 2021, before transferring to Berklee College of Music.

AVINLI is currently working toward her Bachelor of Music with double majors in Songwriting and Independent Recording & Production, and a minor in Electronic Performance. She also works at the Boston Conservatory as a Performance Technology Student Technician.

As a multi-instrumentalist, AVINLI is the sole performer on all her music. Throughout the production process she is entirely self-sufficient. Her hook heavy writing consists of vivid imagery and themes of lust, betrayal, internal turmoil, and tumultuous family dynamics. Coupled with her dark, airy, electronically driven production style, AVINLI's artistry creates an experience that feels like a fever dream viewed through a lens of ever morphing hues of neon blues and purples.
